Panic Attack Treatment
Traditionally, treatment for panic attacks involved medication and/or sessions with a psychiatrist or psychologist. Medication typically requires the patient to take prescribed anti-depressants (most commonly serotonin based[1]) and, depending on the severity of the case, sedatives (Xanax for example) are often provided as an accompaniment.
